Beirut airport bombed, closed

Officials closed Beirut International Airport after Israeli warplanes bombed runways this morning (Thursday), according to agency reports. Lebanese media was reporting that two of the airport's runways had been hit. The strikes come after Israel's Cabinet had declared Lebanon's government responsible for the release of two soldiers taken by Hezbollah guerillas.
