Boeing predicts $2.7tn market

Boeing has forecast a $2.6 trillion market for new commercial aircraft over the next 20 years, with the strongest growth coming from Asia, reported the Associated Press citing Boeing's 2006 Current Market Outlook. It projects a need for 27,200 new passenger and freighter aircraft, doubling the world fleet by 2025.
