"Though the situation in Beirut is beyond our control, Gulf Air is concerned with the safety of Bahrain bound passengers, who are stuck in Beirut," says Gulf Air Vice President Operations Captain Hameed Ali.

"We are working closely with the civil aviation authorities and other officials in Bahrain and Lebanon to ensure Bahrain bound passengers are brought back as early as possible."

Gulf Air has also provided passengers en route to Beirut, who were staying in local hotels, alternate travel options of their choice in less than 36 hours.
