One such interesting event is the Around the World Treasure Hunt at BurJuman every day between 5pm and 10pm. It aims to provide an interactive platform to children, raising awareness of different cultures around the world. An educational event, it entails four different activities such as Pirate Adventures, African Jungle Adventure, Arabian Knight Adventure and Wild West Adventure.

Or how about a first-hand taste of daring adventure through Bungee Jumping and Space Ball. Both require strong nerves and challenge ordinary folk to do extraordinary stuff. The two events take place at Ibn Battuta Mall throughout the week between 5pm and 10pm.

The Ibn Battuta Mall also hosts several fun-filled and adventurous events for the little ones such as Fun Castle and Paintless Paintball Adventures where their concentration and aim will be put to a test. The Wild Bull Rodeo Challenge is also an exciting activity where the participants hold on to a rotating remote controlled bull for as long as possible. Pinnacle Show Challenge will have the kids climb up a mountain to test their stamina and competitive spirit.

Several electronic and virtual games to stimulate children's mental faculties and reflexes are also being held throughout the week. These include 3D Computer Games Competition, Inning Rally Competition and Amazed by Maze Competition at Al Ghurair City every day of the week between 5pm and 10pm. The competitions include both team and individual games with loads of prizes for the participants and winners.

The 3D Computer Games Competition at Al Ghurair City, is one of the electronic events aimed at the tech-savvy new generation that loves video games. Children will compete in outplaying each other at video games, and winners will receive prizes. Another one of the electronic events is the Inning rally adventure, where children form teams and compete in a remote-controlled car race in a race track in one of the shopping malls. Prizes will be given to winners. Also at Al Ghurair City is the Amazed by Maze Competition. This is also a part of the electronic events. Kids form teams of two or three and try to navigate the remote-controlled care out of the maze. It tests children's skills at controlling the cars and taking them to the finish line. Prizes will be given to the winners
Al Ghurair City will also host a Jugglers' show on July 13 between 6pm to 6.30pm, 7.30pm to 8pm and 9pm to 9.30pm. The show would be subsequently held at BurJuman Centre on July 14, Al Reef Mall on July 15, Lamcy Plaza on July 16, Mall of the Emirates on July 17, Ibn Battuta Mall on July 18 and Deira City Centre on July 19 same time.

The Adventure Festival is a range of events where children compete in different games, through a succession of rounds until the winner to reach the final round wins a prize. The 4x4 competition is a highly competitive event, testing speed, strong observational ability, and intelligence. Children compete to pass through a straight line and reach the finish line. Winners will receive prizes.

The 10-week long DSS, which opened with Ice Surprises week on June 21, celebrated the Arts Surprises week, Food Surprises, and continues with the weekly themes of Adventure Surprises, Cartoon Surprises, Nature Surprises, Knowledge Surprises, Flower Surprises, Heritage Surprises and will conclude with Back-to-School Surprises on September 1.
