Wasel customers can roam

Etisalat has announced that its pre-paid Wasel customers can use their mobile phones as normal when they are outside the UAE. The company has set up pre-paid roaming agreements in over 30 countries. Wasel customers will be charged at applicable roaming rates and the deal extends to other GCC states, as well as countries such as India, the UK, France, Morocco, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Spain, Russia and Egypt.
