A pre-launch booking opportunity is being offered for early reservations in the Creekside project that registered a 100 percent sale of plots within one week of its launch two months ago in May 2006.

"Culture Village is not only a distinct project in terms of the cultural dimension that it will add to the Dubai environment, but we also have witnessed high investment activity which can only be an indication of the confidence that investors have in Dubai, and specifically with Dubai Properties," said Hashim Al Dabal, CEO of Dubai Properties.

Master planned as the most exclusive address in Dubai, Culture Village represents a new dimension in the Dubai property market along the Creek on an area of 40 million square feet.

With its inspired mix of Arabic and old Dubai architecture, the project will represent a focal point of international cultural activities comprising theater, ballet, opera and classical music, and feature dance academies and art schools for the promotion of refined culture in the region.

"This one of its kind concept allows investors to be part of an exclusive venture, which will only add to the spirit of Dubai and place it firmly amongst the cultural capitals of the world," Al Dabal said.

Culture Village will enhance the UAE's position regionally and internationally as a lifestyle destination for admirers of fine arts and entertainment. It will comprise six phases featuring traditional architecture, cobble stone walkways, waterways topped with bridges, creekside souks, restaurants and cafes, and include an amphitheater for live performances and cultural festivals, an exhibition hall and museums, and a dockyard showcasing traditional dhow building activity.
