Announcing the promotion, Mr. Jawdat Dajani, Director of Marketing at MTC - Vodafone, Bahrain, said, "Our main objective of the promotion is to capture inbound roamers on the MTC-VB network, offering an incentive to stay on MTC-VB network, enter a raffle draw to win and entice frequent inbound roamers to continue using MTC-VB network and services. Hence, this gives us an opportunity to reward mobile users who roam on our network while enjoying the benefits of the region's most advanced mobile network and services."

"GCC and international mobile users who select the MTC-Vodafone network to roam, will automatically be granted a single raffle entry for the draw by accumulated usage of every 10 minutes of talk time (outgoing calls) or every 10 SMS messages sent," explained. Mr. Jawdat Dajani. He further commented, "So the more they use their phones, the more raffle tickets they generate, and the greater their chances are to win."

Roamers will automatically receive SMS messages informing them of their accumulated raffle tickets total. Visitors can also check this information along with their ticket serial numbers by registering on MTC-Vodafone's website or calling the MTC-Vodafone Customer Service Centre.

MTC Vodafone (Bahrain) offers roaming services in terms of international roaming agreements with over 283 mobile networks in more than 135 countries around the world. MTC-Vodafone Bahrain is also the first operator in the Middle East to offer full, prepaid roaming services in partnership with MTC-Vodafone (Kuwait). The introduction of two-way roaming to eeZee prepaid customers in other countries will follow shortly.

3G roaming allows visitors to Bahrain with 3G phones to enjoy the high speed data services provided by their home operators, all without changing their 3G SIM card or their handsets. Those wishing to benefit from this service, need only to manually select the MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) network when arriving into Bahrain, which may be listed as MTC VB or MTC-Vodafone or BHR 02 depending on the phone used.

MTC-Vodafone remains committed to providing inbound roamers with seamless mobile services while they are visiting Bahrain as they allow visitors to dial their short access numbers for voicemail and customer services just like they would do at home.
