- PRESS RELEASE
Cathay Pacific recently announced vast improvements to their cargo services which are tailored for various cargo-transport requirements and will facilitate the movement of goods and supplies to and from the Gulf.
The new cargo products use a newly branded "LIFT" logo which is in the shape of a unit load device, to highlight the changes.
"We aim to raise awareness of our cargo products in the industry through an innovative and more distinctive branding and segmentation of our products, riding on the competitive edge we have already established over the years," said James Evans, Cathay Pacific's country manager for the UAE and Oman.
The new product features seven different categories which will facilitate the needs from the small business traveller wishing to send important documents 'Courier LIFT' up to big businesses transporting dangerous goods out of the UAE 'DG LIFT'. The new service also incorporates an easier system for transporting live goods to and from the UAE 'Live animal LIFT' as well as facilitating the distribution and export of the UAE's fresh produce 'Fresh LIFT'. 'Expert LIFT' is an innovative idea which combines specialist expertise for sending unusual shipments in shape size or design out of the UAE.
Among the other product categories, 'Priority LIFT' is a premium new product that offers late acceptance and early retrieval for all shipments with priority handling and a money back guarantee. This is especially beneficial for Gulf residents wishing to export goods back to their home countries with a confirmation that they will arrive. With the option of 'Secure LIFT' customers can be assured that any goods leaving on a Cathay Pacific flight to or from the Gulf will be protected with the highest security.
"As a company we welcome these changes," Mr Evans went on to say. "Anything which facilitates the movement of cargo with no compromise of security or service is a real boost. Cathay Pacific has always prided itself on bringing the latest innovations in terms of customer service so naturally we are very proud to be once again at the forefront of service development," he concluded.
