However, Jazeera Airways will continue to fly the rescheduled 'Beirut flights' to Damascus until July 19th or until the evacuation people who are Kuwait-bound ends.

Since the shutdown of Beirut airport early Thursday morning, the airline is flying evacuees to Kuwait at no cost, whether they are Jazeera Airways travelers, passengers with return tickets issued by other airlines, or Kuwaitis with no return tickets at all.

Jazeera Airways Communications Manager Fawaz Al-Sirri said "we are heavily coordinating with the Kuwaiti government and the Kuwaiti embassies in both Syria and Lebanon to ensure the safe evacuation of anyone looking to return to Kuwait."

He added, "though we have suspended our summer schedule to Beirut, we will continue to operate evacuation flights on a daily basis and we look forward to resuming our flights to Beirut as soon as the airport resumes commercial operations."

By suspending all Beirut flights, all customers will automatically have a credit account at Jazeera Airways with the amount they paid in full and will receive a 10% discount for their next booking, valid for a one-year period. Furthermore, customers may also request a refund and Jazeera Airways will pay the refund in full.

"We are committed to supporting our customers wherever they are and whichever way we can, and the least we could do at the moment is compensate them in full and offer them a 10% discount on their next booking," Al Sirri said.
