HP leaves an imprint with its new HP Pavilion dv2000 Entertainment Notebook PC

HP Middle East recently launched the HP Pavilion dv2000 Entertainment Notebook PC at an event held at the Movenpick Hotel in Beirut, which attracted key media from the region.

The HP Imprint finish is a ground-breaking hard-coated, high gloss surface which, not only looks stylish, but offers practical durability as well. Transforming the notebook into a sleek, fashionable portable PC, it features an inlaid form and a shiny outer coating exclusive to HP, helping to protect the notebook from unwanted scratches. A latch free design with a magnetic closing mechanism helps users shut the notebook in one smooth and simple motion.
Loaded with digital entertainment features, the HP Pavilion dv2000 Entertainment Notebook PC is the ideal accessory for movie lovers. With a 14.1-inch high definition widescreen display and HP Brightview technology for impressive picture quality, it brings the cinema to you. For high-definition gaming and video output, the notebook is powered by either an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator or an NVIDIA® GeForce® Go video graphics card, offering vivid images and true-to-life action.
The new notebooks also include integrated Altec Lansing® stereo speakers which deliver dynamic stereo sound, complementing the outstanding picture quality. Using the two integrated stereo headphone jacks the experience of viewing movies can still shared, even while travelling.
To help the user get straight to the heart of the action, the notebook design incorporates the innovative HP QuickPlay function, using new touchpad-style media launch buttons to activate entertainment with a simple swipe of a finger. A powerful battery provides pro-longed power for true mobility and, with an integrated 802.11 a/b/g wireless connection, it offers the freedom to go online anywhere, anytime. The notebook PC is available with either Intel® CoreTM Solo or Duo processors with up to 120 Gigabytes (GB) of storage (on selected models).
An optional integrated 1.3 megapixel HP Pavilion webcam and two omni-directional microphones (on selected models) make connecting with friends and family through Voice over IP (VoIP) and instant messenger services easier than ever.
Sharing music, photos and other files is simple, with a 5-in-1 memory card reader and a DVD +/- R/RW optical disk drive, it is easy to burn data onto CDs and DVDs. Furthermore, LightScribe Direct Disc Labelling technology, available on selected models, provides a simple, no hassle way to personalise discs. Once the file transfer has taken place simply flip the disc over and reinsert it into the disc drive to produce silk-screen quality labels within seconds.
