Michael Jackson takes on UP marketing assignment

Born in England, Michael studied Communications, Advertising & Marketing at Manchester Polytechnic before gaining experience at a large UK-based agency.

After leaving England and working in Dubai for a number of years he accepted a marketing post in Barcelona, working initially for a leading UK-based food manufacturer and later for a Spanish IT distributor. During this period Michael obtained a diploma in Marketing Management from one of Barcelona's more prestigious business schools.

In 1995 Michael returned to what he regards as his second home, Dubai. Having worked as Group Account Director for one of the region's largest multinational advertising agency networks, he then moved to a smaller agency where, for the past four-and-a-half years, was Account Director on a number of local and international blue-chip brands.

Michael has a wealth of experience and his approachable and enthusiastic nature will undoubtedly help provide effective leadership for the UP Marketing team and add to the already successful growth of the UP brand.
