Opec sees slower demand growth

Opec says world oil demand growth will slow in 2007 on record high oil prices and slower economic expansion, according to Reuters. It expects oil demand to rise by 1.3m bpd in 2007, less than this year's 1.4m bpd, according to the group's monthly report. The International Energy Agency is predicting oil demand will rise by 1.57m bpd in 2007.
