Arabic version of Dubai Business Handbook 2006 launched

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has launched the Arabic version of the Dubai Business Handbook 2006, a comprehensive update of all new business and investment opportunities in Dubai.

A total of 6,000 copies have been printed and will be available to industry stakeholders, businessmen and potential investors in the emirate. Copies of the new edition will also be distributed to all the DTCM Overseas Representative offices in a bid to attract greater business ventures from the world over.

The Dubai Business Handbook 2006-Arabic has UV varnished covers, high-quality matt paper and a colourful layout.

The DTCM Manager Media & Advertising, Mr. Ahmed Al Tunaiji, said:

"The Dubai Business Handbook is a very important guide for businessmen and it is aimed at promoting business in the emirate.For the first time we have launched an Arabic version that will increase the outreach of the publication."


The publication provides all the necessary information related to setting up business in Dubai and its free zones and includes information on rules and regulations for the same, key business contacts and a business directory.

Mr. Al Tunaiji said: "The Business Handbook, brought out by DTCM, is different from other such handbooks as it contains the latest updated information on the upcoming projects in Dubai in addition to providing first-hand data on the rules and regulations governing the setting up of new businesses in the emirate."

The 2006 edition includes information on the economy, employment regulations, the MICE sector and life in Dubai in addition to details about the new business projects like the Dubai Festival City , Dubai Healthcare City , Dubai Internet City , Dubai Cars and Automotive Zone, Dubai Business Bay , Dubai Aid City and Dubai Flower Centre.

Some of the salient features of the handbook includes a Dubai Business Directory, future projects, lifestyle in Dubai, religion, new employment regulations, key business contacts and a map of Dubai.
