BMW, 14% H1 sales lift

BMW Group Middle East sold 7,053 BMW and Mini cars in H1 2006, 14% more than in the same period in 2005. UAE sales increased by 17% to 2,557 units, where AGMC was the highest volume distributor offloading 1,540 units. BMW 7 Series showed the highest growth, with a 37% increase in sales, followed by the 5 Series with 20% and 6 Series 16%. BMW will introduce three products: the BMW 3 Series Coupe, the new BMW X3 and the new BMW M6 convertible in H2 2006.
