EEC releases IPO prospectus

Emaar the Economic City, a consortium headed by Emaar Properties, has made a company prospectus available as it prepares a $680m initial public offering. The float is for 255m shares at SR10 each, which will raise 30% of EEC's total share capital. It will be open for ten days from 22 July to 2 August 2006. EEC is developing the $26.6bn King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi.
