DAE chases plane makers

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise is looking to break into the aircraft manufacturing business by forging alliances with major aircraft makers, Gulf News reported. DAE, a $15bn aviation venture set up by the Dubai government to develop aviation services business, wants to become a model for various aviation related activities, including components manufacturing and airport development, CEO Bob Johnson told the daily.
