Cancer testing response poor

A major breast cancer screening initiative in Bahrain has met with a poor response from Bahraini women, Gulf Daily News quoted the Bahrain Cancer Council as saying. Launched in 2005, the plan was to screen 52,000 women aged 40 years and above; but only 19% of the more than 34,000 women invited to take tests have so far responded.
