The event also featured a full schedule of informative sessions by key industry speakers, amongst them Mr. Luke Kabamba, Business Unit Leader for Enterprise System Management at CA in Dubai.
During his presentation, Mr. Kabamba discussed the convergence of application development and integration, leading to a service oriented architecture framework that delivers better response rates, higher operational efficiencies and faster application deployment.
Presenting the award to Al Tayer Group, Maria Medvedeva, the Dubai-based Regional Director of CA's Security Management, EMEA Eastern Markets, said,
"This event represents the next level of maturity for the enterprises in the Gulf market. It is clear that today's environment is rapidly changing - business dynamics and technological innovations have left organizations with a disparate mix of operating systems, applications and databases. SOA is aimed to deliver flexibility and agility by dramatically cutting development time and cost, allowing a faster delivery timeframe for new innovative services to customers, suppliers and partners.'
She added, "Through its service oriented architecture, CA is empowering IT users, from executives to operators, by providing them with a unique capability to bypass the impact of the IT infrastructure's complexity and channeling relevant information and services to their fingertips. CA's Service Oriented Architecture creates solutions that are flexible, open and extensible, making the infrastructure easy to manage.'
