- PRESS RELEASE
The Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) recently hosted an Animation Workshop at the university's King Hussein School for Information Technology.
The two week workshop allowed participants, including PSUT students, representatives of the Jordanian private sector, and business professionals from abroad, to take part in 15 different practical exercises in animation.
These exercises served to introduce the group to the technologies that allow for the creation of moving images and their transformation from paper zoetrope strips to flash animation suitable for publishing on the web.
Each exercise was devoted to a specific area of specialization within the broad science of animation and its uses in the practical world. Ending the event on a high note, participants submitted a 1 minute group project, whereby they drew upon their newly acquired knowledge.
