Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai strengthens executive team

The award-winning Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai has announced two new appointments to its executive committee - Mr. Rene Egle, Resident Manager and Mr. Sebastien Noat, Director of Food and Beverage.
Commenting on his transfer to Dubai, Mr. Egle said, "Dubai is a city of endless opportunities and I am delighted to join this dedicated team of professionals at Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai. Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has a tradition of exceeding guests' expectations and I aim to ensure we continue delivering to the standards on which our reputation has been built."
Reporting directly to Mr. Bernhard Haechler the Area Manager and General Manager, Mr. Egle will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's day-to-day operations in coordination with respective department heads.
Mr. Sebastien Noat, the newly appointed Director of Food and Beverage, joins Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai from The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort in Monaco where he directed the largest resort F&B operations in France. Mr. Noat is no stranger to Shangri-La having worked previously with Shangri-La Hotels in Beijing, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.
"I am very excited about working with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts again, particularly in such a diverse and vibrant city like Dubai. While Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai already boasts award-winning restaurants, I plan to use my experience, enthusiasm and creativity to maintain and enhance our services and facilities," Mr. Noat.
Mr. Noat will be responsible for development and implementation of F&B concepts and overseeing operations of all food and beverage outlets.
