- PRESS RELEASE
Wafi Mall has today revealed details of its motoring memorabilia sale which will see more than 70 sought after items go under the hammer on August 31st.
"The Honda Bar is without doubt a part of Formula One racing history and saw Jacques Villeneuve finish 7th in the 2001 World Championship. As such we are delighted to be able to sell such a prized possession and are confident that some lucky racing enthusiast will snap up this piece of Formula One history while benefiting a good cause and making a real difference to the lives of children in need," said Jocelyn McBride, Marketing Manager, Wafi Mall.
All the profits from the sale of the BAR Honda F1 along with other racing memorabilia on auction will benefit the foundation which seeks to serve the maximum number of children in need, with the minimum amount of administrative expenses. The Foundation endeavors to provide a safe, nurturing and loving environment and improve the quality of life for children, regardless of geographical, political, or religious boundaries. The Foundation's goal is to use 95 per cent of the donated funds exclusively for the children, with five per cent allocated to the Foundation's out-of-pocket expenses.
The charity sale takes place until August 31st and is open to the public.
