As part of its efforts to go global in a big way, the DSS and DSF office is participating in the promotional expo on the sidelines of the International Newbury Horse Racing 2006 in the UK.

The expo began on Friday and runs until Sunday, July 23 has Ibrahim Saleh, DSS/DSF COO and Mohammed Ahli, operation coordinator of DSS and DSF, representing the two iconic events.

The DSS and DSF representatives will distribute printouts and fliers with information about the two events at the expo. The promotional campaign will highlight DSS 2006 and DSF 2006-2007 in order to win more exposure for the two annual events. The Newbury Horse race in the UK attracts horse lovers from across the world and is an ideal platform to promote the DSS and DSF amidst international audience.

The marketing of the event in the UK came by the invitation of the Organising Committee of Arabian International Race Day Office under Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and the UAE Minister of Finance & Industry. As DSS 2006 continues until September 1 and the DSF 2006-2007 starts on December 20, this participation is being seen as a good opportunity to attract more international visitors from the world over.
