Air Arabia adds more flights to Bahrain

Air Arabia LLC, the first low-fares airline in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced additional services on the Sharjah-Bahrain sector in response to increasing customer demand.

The new morning flights between Sharjah and Bahrain offer more options and convenience to business travellers at both the destinations, particularly those who make day trips

The new flights, effective July 29, 2006, will take off from Sharjah every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 0830 hours local time, arriving in Bahrain at 0835 hours local time. The return flights depart from Bahrain at 0920 hours local time, arriving in Sharjah at 1130 hours. The regular flights to Bahrain continue as normal with a daily departure from Sharjah at 1710 UAE time and a return 1800 hours departure from Bahrain local time.

In his comments on enhanced services to Bahrain, Mr. Adel Ali, CEO of Air Arabia, said:
"The decision to boost our frequency on the Sharjah-Bahrain sectors follows increased customer demand in the recent past. On behalf of Air Arabia, I would like to express my appreciation to the Minister of Transportation and the Civil Aviation Affairs in Bahrain for granting us the rights for the extra frequencies. The frequency of travel between the UAE and Bahrain is on the increase and the additional flights facilitates this increase making traveling easier for people in both countries."
