Dubai Media Inc. announces new designations of key personnel

Nadia Al Awadi has been promoted to General Manager, One TV, while Rashid Murooshed is designated Head of New Media.

Making the announcement, Hussein Lootah, CEO of DMI, said: "The decision to promote Al Awadi and Al Murooshed was made in appreciation of their efforts to develop and enhance the success of DMI. We also hope that this will serve as an encouragement for UAE nationals to continue their effective role in the field of media."

In her new role, Al Awadi will focus on initiating efficiency in the existing work flow, and conduct aggressive consumer and marketing research for One TV.

Al Awadi will also further develop One TV's strategy to ensure that it consolidates its role as a leading English entertainment channel in the region.

Acknowledging her new position, Al Awadi said, "One TV has been able to achieve a number of milestones since its inception. I look forward to new challenges in taking One TV to the next level."

She added, "We are proud of One TV's achievements within a short period. By aligning itself with a number of well known international production companies including Warner Brothers and Disney, it has been able to differentiate itself through its unique and exclusive programming."

As Head of New Media, Rashid Al Murooshed will focus on developing and marketing DMI's channels through new media technologies.
