RTA appoints and promotes nationals in leading positions

This came in line with the Directions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai to persuade growing talent among the nationals and encourage Emiratisation in the authority. The new appointments are to ensure the vision and strategic goals of the RTA are established.

The new orders include the appointment of Mohamad Humaid Al Marri, as Director of Finance Department. He has a Masters Degree in Business Management from American University in Dubai and Bachelor's degree in Accounting from UAE University in Al Ain. He has gained more than 20 years of experience in Finance fields and also Member in the Accountants and Auditors Association in the country and also occupying an Assistant General Secretary position for the Arab Union of the Legal Accounting Experts in Beirut.

Jassim Mohammed Al Jassmi has been appointed as Salary and Employee Relations Manager. With a Bachelor's Degree in the General Administrative, he has an experience of 10 years in employee affairs.

The order also includes the promotion of Engineer Alia Ibrahim Mohammed Al Asad, as Manager of Maintenance Planning. With a Bachelor degree of Civil Engineering in Roads and transport specialization, she has more than Four years of experience in roads pavement engineering and traffic signs. She also a member in the GCC Roads Engineering Association and won the Best Distinguished Employee in Dubai Government Excellent Program (DGEP) in the year 2002 and also won the award for Distinguished Technical Project in Dubai from DGEP in the year 2004.

Waleed Mahmoud Al Zarouni, also been promoted as the Head of Bus Operation Unit in the Public Bus Department. He has a Bachelor in Arts and has around 12 years of experience in finance field and gain many certificates of appreciations.
