Mr. Nohra said, "I would like to begin this conference by expressing my endless gratitude to the UAE government and its people. But above all, I thank His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai, the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, including the rulers of the other Emirates for giving us all the amenities to facilitate humanitarian aids for Lebanon.

'I would also like to thank all the Lebanese organizations working in the UAE, inclusive of companies, institutions, alumni, clubs and others for their unconditional support. We ask God to make all their steps blessed for the sake of Lebanon and its people."
