Fujitsu Siemens Computers launches 'executive designed' LIFEBOOK Q2010

Exclusively designed for the increasing number of mobile executives' in the Middle East, the Q2010 is the ultimate combination of sophisticated style and technology.

The LIFEBOOK Q2010, one of the lightest and slimmest notebooks in its category, is a compact device weighing a mere one kilogramme and 20mm thick in DIN A4 format. The notebook's optical drive has been replaced by a Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) to reduce its size and enable fast and wireless data access.

Fujitsu Siemens Computers is one of the first major vendors to introduce a notebook with embedded UMTS, enabling anytime, anywhere data access and telephony. The Q2010's display frame is made from the highest quality materials, with titanium joints, magnesium housing and a black piano lacquer finish.

Technical highlights of the new LIFEBOOK include: a 12.1-inch WXGA-TFT display, embedded UMTS with data access and telephony features, integrated WLAN and Bluetooth, VoIP (Voice over IP) ready with integrated array microphones, a six-cell battery enabling up to 8 hours of operation without external power, port replicator with integrated dual-layer multiformat DVD burner, top security with integrated fingerprint sensor and SmartCase™ Logon+ software, and TPM Modul 1.2.
