Panasonic launches its latest steam inverter microwave with advanced steam-generating mechanism
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, July 26 - 2006 at 12:09
- PRESS RELEASE
Panasonic, the leading global manufacturer of consumer electronics and home appliances, has announced the launch of its latest steam inverter microwave, GS595A.
The GS595A has a 3-in-1 combination cooking mechanism comprising microwave, double heater and steam. The top and bottom 2-stage halogen heaters of the oven provide high control over the degree of heat, and the steam, by penetrating deep into the food being cooked, ensures flavor preservation.
The inverter system of the microwave oven gives it a flexible linear control that allows faster cooking without destroying food cells and also offers reduced power consumption.
"Panasonic continues its commitment to introduce products that address specific consumer requirements and our extensive investment in research and product innovation has translated into high quality home appliances and consumer electronics," said Takashimaru Yamamoto, General Manager, Home appliances, Panasonic Marketing Middle-east.
"The popularity of steam microwaves is growing steadily in the Middle East, and Panasonic is leading the way by introducing an affordable, technologically advanced model that presents a host of advantages to users. It has been proven that food cooked in steam microwave retains more nutrition and flavor compared to that cooked in standard microwave ovens," he added.
The Panasonic GS595A also boasts a highly precise infrared sensor that allows heating till the exact desired temperature. The high performance sensor measures temperature at 152 points inside the oven, and is calibrated finely enough to heat ice cream to an exact -20 degrees Celsius for ease of scooping out.
In addition, the GS595A's combination of microwave heating and steam eliminates excessive fat by up to 19 percent. Microwaves cook the food from within and also dissolve fat, which is then removed by the high temperature steam. The steam function also facilitates natural food defrosting, thawing the frozen extraneous layers to enhance microwave penetration.
