- PRESS RELEASE
Dubai Municipality has appealed to the public to support the Lebanese children as it launched a campaign under the banner "Let's Stand by Lebanon" to collect donations through its offices across the city.
"This humanitarian drive stems from our policy in the field of corporate social responsibility. Apart from encouraging our customers who come to our offices to donate for this cause, we are also sending SMS to customers who are in our database," said a department official.
The campaign will last until 2 August 2006. Dubai Municipality had organised similar campaigns in the past at the time of natural calamities and man-made disasters.
