- PRESS RELEASE
Adobe Systems Incorporated, a leading global software and technology solutions provider, has appointed Jacob Alex as its Middle East Channel Manager as part of its aggressive regional channel development strategy.
"Alex's local and regional expertise in the mid-market space will enable us to develop key partnerships in this increasingly competitive market and implement exciting new initiatives to support the channel," said Adobe's Regional Manager, Andrew Lindströrm.
"This move reiterates our commitment to the market, our partners and end users, and strengthens our position as the preferred vendor for developing applications that deliver proven business benefits," he added.
In his new role, Alex will target vertical sectors significant to Adobe's business focus that include government, retail, and financial services which are emerging as new large-scale implementation sources. Additionally, he will support the company's internationally succesful anti-piracy campaign that encourages legitimised software usage.
"I intend to further develop Adobe's brand image and philosophy and improve communications with business partners across the Gulf and Levant," said Alex.
"Going forward, we will increasingly support our partners through improved and efficient operating procedures that will help service end users more effectively."
Alex, an Indian national, who has been in the Middle East for more than 13 years, holds a Bachelor's degree in Science and a Diploma in Multimedia, Web designing and Computer Applications. He has extensive regional experience including stints in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Jordan and has been part of various campaigns and channel development programmes.
