Egypt, Arab tourist joy

The number of tourists to Egypt from Arab countries increased by 15% between January and June 2006, helped by increased airline capacity, according to industry sources cited by Emirates Today. Saudi Arabia headed the list with 42,245 visits, an increase of 8.9%. There were 86.9% more visitors from Qatar, 17.4% more from Palestine and 11.9% more from the UAE.
