Blue Coat expands Integralis partnership with joint programs and services for Wan optimization

Blue Coat and Integralis have been partners for security solutions for the past seven years. Now, with the addition of its MACH5 technology to Blue Coat SG appliances, Blue Coat and Integralis can offer the ability to provide both Web security and application acceleration. The appliances work between users and content or applications, providing control for both security and acceleration, based on a full understanding of user-application interactions. By distributing Blue Coat appliances at key points in an enterprise infrastructure - the data center, the gateway and regional/branch offices - organizations can create robust system architecture to protect, control and accelerate Web communications.

Integralis shares the Blue Coat vision for a solution combining Wide Area Network (WAN) optimization and Web security. Integralis is offering complete integration services for the Blue Coat solution.

Blue Coat and Integralis are also planning a jointly managed service initiative with Blue Coat's SG appliances through Integralis' Network Operations Center (NOC). The two companies are also planning joint sales and marketing activities.
