Volkswagen is launching a new charm campaign in the Middle East. At the opening of their new Bahrain showroom, their largest in the Middle East, Andreas Prinz, Managing Director Volkswagen Middle East, personified the brand's new emotive approach as he simultaneously inaugurated the new showroom and introduced the world to Volkswagen Middle East's new attitude.
'It's hard not to notice Bahrain's ambitious economic expansion in the region, and we've decided to align ourselves with the country's impressive growth. If the people of Bahrain are going to be the regional leaders, then they need to be driving vehicles that are similarly ground-breaking.' said Prinz. With a re-imagined regional brand motto 'Volkswagen - It gets me', the new Bahrain showroom represents the beginning of a new brand campaign that is set to ramp out across the Middle East over the coming months.
The impressive new Bahrain showroom offers the island's motorists two marked improvements over the current manufacturer showrooms: choice and customizability.
As the largest Volkswagen showroom in the Middle East, with 2,645 sq metres for both sales and after-sales area, customers will be offered unparalleled choice as they peruse up to 15 new cars at any one visit - not just look but touch, and try and test drive.
Taking note of the increasing buyer's trend of personalizing their vehicles, the new showroom also emphasizes customisability. With a Phaeton commissioning room to create your perfect Phaeton model, 13 workbays and 2 dialogue bays to customize every customer's exact purchase to their standards, and an expected workshop throughput of 400 to 450 cars per month, few models leaving the sales floor will be the same.
With this combination of choice and customisability, this state-of-the-art facility represents the latest evolution in showroom standards, and is typical of the kind of commitment Volkswagen and Bahrain have shared for over forty years. Now approaching its first anniversary, the Volkswagen Regional Office is solidifying Bahrain and Volkswagen's relationship, as well as facilitating a Gulf-wide community of Volkswagen owners.
