Dubai Metro could get fourth line

A fourth line is being planned for the Dubai Metro, which would lift project costs by a further $2.2bn, according to a report in Al Bayan newspaper carried by Emirates Today. A "Purple Line" will be 90kms long and have a capacity to carry 12,000 passengers an hour in each direction. There has been no official confirmation.
