Aramex Q2 profit up 35%

Aramex, a Dubai-listed transport logistics firm, says Q2 2006 profit increased by 35% to $6.7m compared with Q2 2005. Quarterly revenues were up 73% to $98.4m compared to $56.8 in Q2 2005. Half-yearly revenues went to $163.4m, 52% better than for H1 2005. Aramex acquired Twoway Vanguard, a logistics and freight service provider with a network across the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands, in the quarter.
