Designed specifically for sunny desert conditions, these new split-unit (wall-mounted) air conditioners feature Ionizer technology, photo-catalyst filter, aesthetic design, powerful cooling, and energy savings. Together these features can enhance users' well being by offering multiple health benefits such as reduction in fatigue and allergies.
'In the UAE, residents cannot afford the luxury of using only natural ventilation,' said Imad Richani, business unit manager, UTS Carrier, UAE.
'Homeowners frequently complain about indoor air quality, excessive fine dust particles, bad odours, smoke and domestic smells. According to research in Japan, the Ionizer technology in the advanced air-cleansing system and the photo-catalytic filter help reduce such allergens from the home environment,' added Richani.
The research showed that while the cooling condensing unit of the new air conditioners reduces the indoor temperature, the inbuilt Ionizer technology in the Xpression series defuses negative ions, which magnetically attract pollutants such as dust, smog, human and animal dander, smoke and allergens.
Additionally, Xpression Health Plus' noise level is only 37 decibels, which is just 5 decibels higher than a whisper. The Health Plus resin motor application keeps the running of the split unit smooth and quiet.
Moreover, the high efficiency compressor and large condenser coil surface ensure high energy efficiency, resulting in cost savings for consumers of these state-of-the-art split units that are designed to blend in with the elegant furnishings in any room.
The new Hi-Wall series has five models and is available in 1.0 ton, 1.5 ton, 2.0 ton, 2.5 ton and 3.0 ton capacities to suit individual needs. Carrier air conditioners are available at UTS Carrier outlets and air conditioning retailers in the UAE.
