This is a unique sales initiative that has already proven to be highly successful in building market share in the US market.

This innovative programme, to initially be introduced in the UAE, KSA and Kuwait, applies to selected Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge vehicles, and gives customers the opportunity to purchase award-winning vehicles that combine the very best of American and German engineering at prices normally reserved for DaimlerChrysler Middle East employees, equivalent to a saving of up to 18%.

The programme is led and coordinated by DaimlerChrysler Middle East, thus ensuring that the retail prices offered will be consistent across the region - subject to stock availability, it may be extended into other Middle East countries at a future date.

Customers who visit Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge dealers before the 31st of August will immediately receive employee pricing on Chrysler Group vehicles.

"DaimlerChrysler Middle East is setting the pace for the summer selling season with incredible offers for customers who visit our showrooms," said Trent Barcroft, Vice President, DaimlerChrysler Middle East. "The Employee Pricing Plus programme is designed to attract new buyers, and gives drivers throughout the Middle East the opportunity to own one of our award-winning vehicles. This has already proven to be particularly successful in the US, with customers recognising that it offers genuine savings across the product range."

The Employee Pricing Plus programme includes the best-selling award-winners like the Chrysler 300C, Chrysler Grand Voyager, Jeep® Cherokee, Jeep® Grand Cherokee and Jeep® Commander plus Dodge Durango, subject to stock availability.

"This programme will enable more people to enjoy the innovative design, high quality, total reliability and irresistible performance of today's Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge vehicles," said Craig Hardie, Marketing & Communications Manager, Chrysler, Jeep® & Dodge, DaimlerChrysler Middle East.

Following the highly successful introduction of new vehicles such as the Chrysler 300C and Jeep® Commander, DaimlerChrysler Middle East, confirmed that sales across the Middle East in the first half of 2006 have shown extremely encouraging growth, with all three brands performing above planned expectations. This has resulted in a total sales increase of over 35% against the same period last year.

"The increase in sales has been strongly driven by demand for our new models," added Barcroft. "The Jeep®, Chrysler and Dodge design teams have developed exciting new vehicles that really capture the imagination of drivers throughout the region. The combination of stand- out design, great performance and class-leading functionality has really made people look at the brands in a totally new way, and the Employee Pricing Plus Programme is an aggressive move designed to further grow our market share."
