DP World $200m Caribbean expansion

DP World will invest $200m in its container port of Caucedo in the Dominican Republic to attract more shipping lines, Gulf News reported. DP World has a 35% stake in the facility, with the balance held by Dominican partners and Spanish firm Dragados. The Dubai-based ports operator said it might also bid for the Dominican government owned port of Boca Chica, if put up for private tender.
