Swift employee wins young International Freight Forwarder of the Year Award for Region Africa / Middle East

As the winner from Region Africa/Middle East, Vishal Joshi has been invited to attend the FIATA World Congress in Shanghai in September, along with three other winners from the Americas, Asia/Pacific, and Europe regions.

In Shanghai, the overall winner will be selected and announced at the gala dinner on Thursday, 21st September. He or she will receive four weeks of practical and academic training, along with complimentary subscriptions to industry publications.

"It is a great honor for one of our employees to be recognised in this way," said B. Rajagopalan, Managing Director of the Swift Group. "We are proud of Vishal's hard work, not only in competing for this award but also as Swift's representative in Ghana."

Each national association of FIATA can nominate one candidate, who submits a dissertation on the topic given by award's organisers. Mr. Joshi, Sales and Operations In-Charge for Swift in Accra, Ghana, was nominated by the Ghana
Institute of Freight Forwarders and wrote his dissertation over a period of three months.
