Saudi drugs addicts soar

Drug rehabilitation centres in Saudi hospitals are struggling to cope with the number of drug addicts in the kingdom, according to a psychiatrist quoted in the Saudi Gazette. Dr Mohammad Al Jundi says Jeddah Al Amal Hospital is planning to open a new rehab ward for women addicts in the next three months, in response to rising narcotics addiction in women.
