AMAN achieves 22 per cent emiratisation
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, August 03 - 2006 at 11:56
- PRESS RELEASE
Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (AMAN) said it had registered highest rate of Emiratisation of jobs among insurance companies in UAE during the second quarter of 2006 with 22 per cent of posts already emiratized, according to its managing director Hussein Mohammed Al Meeza.
Al Meeza said human resource development "is one of the key objectives AMAN seeks to achieve. Our experience in encouraging the national youth to work in the insurance field has proven successful."
Despite its novelty, AMAN has lured many nationals to join it. It has recently appointed Mr. Ahmed Hamad Al Suweidi as manager of administration and human resources in Dubai. Another national, Mr. Rashid Al Meeza, has also been appointed as branch manager in Sharjah and northern Regions.
"This move complements the company's policy to have our presence felt all over the country," the managing director concluded.
