Poisoning risks highlighted

The Abu Dhabi Poison and Drug Information Centre is urging parents to be vigilant during the school summer holidays, in case their children accidentally swallow potentially dangerous household chemicals or spill solutions on themselves, reported Gulf News. A senior doctor at the PDIC said that incidences of poisoning increase during the summer months when children are often left to play unsupervised.
