GE Healthcare positioned for accelerated growth in 2006

The strategic management move is aimed at strengthening the MEACAT market, which is currently experiencing a burgeoning growth in healthcare infrastructure development.

From his base in Dubai, Isam Moursy will be responsible for developing and expanding customer relationships and long-term public and private sector partnerships across GE Healthcare's technology and bio-science offerings.

Isam Moursy has over 20 years experience with GE Energy and Schlumberger working across the board from field engineer to services and sales leadership. Previously, he was General Manager, GE Energy Services for Africa, India and the Middle East, stationed in Dubai, and led the company through significant growth.

Before moving to Dubai, he spent nine years in Cairo undertaking a range of responsibilities as Services Sales Engineer, Customer Service Manager and Unit Sales Manager for GE Energy's Africa region. An MBA from the American University in Cairo, Isam Moursy holds an engineering degree from Cairo University. He started his career at Schlumberger and worked as Senior Field Engineer in countries including Brazil, the UAE, Somalia and India.
