According to North American-based Infonetics Research, the premiere international market research and consulting firm specialising in data networking and telecoms, medium sized companies lose 1% of their revenues a year to server downtime.
Dr. Saeed said:
"As the regional business markets develop, server downtime is going to become increasingly detrimental to companies of all sizes. Organizations need to find the optimum balance between overall data recovery costs and acceptable risks to develop a workable strategy that provides the basis of a business continuity and disaster recovery plan",
he added.

Running from mid-August to mid-September, the IDC IT Infrastructure roadshow will be held in five Middle East countries including Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
