"The Tech Access Technology Centre gives customers the opportunity to test products and solutions before they commit to purchase. Companies cannot afford lengthy and expensive development and testing cycles - they need to hit the ground running and produce results quickly. The centre addresses 'specific business requirements' and presents a business value proposition to the end user - this is what makes the centre unique in terms of its offering. Now in its sixth year of operation, the centre has a proven track record - its success is measured not only in terms of a successful engagement resulting in a sale but also in its ability to identify limitations in the required technical solution proposed, reducing risk to the customer,"
says Ghalib.
At the centre, Tech Access consulting experts assist customers with planning, development and training services. Customers can 'test' industrial prototypes free of charge, giving them access to sector best practices. Whether it is a hospitality Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) package or a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) offering, the centre will leverage the expertise of leading independent software vendors (ISV), original equipment manufacturers (OEM), integrators, service and system providers to deliver best of breed, end-to-end solutions.
"At Tech Access, we specialise in strategy development, collaborative design, system integration and application integration. The Middle East market for IT suppliers is growing steadily and companies are keen to invest in technology that keeps pace with their demands. There is keen competition between IT vendors and factors like reliability and scalability are key considerations for buyers. We score over competitors in this regard," says Ghalib.
Emphasis on services and training is the way forward for value added resellers, and areas Tech Access will focus on to build its network extensions in the region. To support its partner network, the company currently has four offices in the region including satellite offices in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Morocco. The expansion of the Dubai-based company adds a new layer of partner services for resellers across the Middle East and provides them with direct link to a team of specialist sales and configuration experts.
"We see tremendous growth in outsourcing services, banking solutions and the storage sector in 2006. Tech Access is proactively building a team to handle all aspects of outsourcing needs and at the same time ramping up expertise in other areas including core banking solutions. We plan to work very closely with channel partners to backfill their IT solutions and service requirements," adds Ghalib.
