The U.S. Government provides USD1.9 million to NGO for humanitarian assistance In Lebanon

The United States Government (USG), through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), has provided $1.9 million to the International Medical Corps (IMC) for emergency relief assistance in Lebanon.
The U.S. Government has pledged an initial $30 million in immediate humanitarian assistance to victims of the conflict in Lebanon. More than $22 million has been contributed to date for logistics, water and sanitation, health services, emergency relief supplies, transportation, and support for U.N. efforts to coordinate relief activities among the humanitarian community.
