Specifically, the IMC will provide those in need with health services, psychosocial support for affected youth, water and sanitation activities, and emergency relief supplies.
The U.S. Government has pledged an initial $30 million in immediate humanitarian assistance to victims of the conflict in Lebanon. More than $22 million has been contributed to date for logistics, water and sanitation, health services, emergency relief supplies, transportation, and support for U.N. efforts to coordinate relief activities among the humanitarian community.
