Hotels demand long stay

Some five-star hotels in Dubai are insisting on bookings of at least seven nights over the New Year holiday period, with some demanding as many as ten, disgruntled residents have told 7Days. Families who had planned to book hotel rooms for New Year's Eve said they were disappointed at the move. A ten-day stay at Dubai's top hotels could cost more than $8,000.
