Saudi to ease access to bourse

Saudi Arabia's Capital Market Authority says it will allow government investment institutions, pension funds and social insurance funds based in the six GCC states to invest in the Saudi bourse, Reuters reported. Gulf investment in the bourse was previously made either by using a Saudi intermediary or through mutual funds, according to local fund manager. Foreign residents are allowed to invest directly in stocks.
