Dubai Ideal Home Show to offer multicultural solutions for homes
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, August 12 - 2006 at 08:00
- PRESS RELEASE
The Dubai Ideal Home Show, a pre-eminent event that showcases various aspects of homes including Interior Design, Kitchen to Table, Home Tech, Arts and Crafts, Garden & Landscaping will reflect the multicultural environment of the region and offer specific solutions, meeting the requirements of this major segment, announced organisers Messe Frankfurt.
"Dubai is home to more than 150 nationalities with as many ethnic and culturally diverse groups," said Messe Frankfurt's Exhibitions Director, Christopher Hudson. "In order to meet their requirements and specifications relating to home environment, this year we have expanded several elements including the Hometech Zone, a more interactive Inspiring Ideas Theatre and a larger Taste Temptation Theatre," he added.
The show's focus on multiculturalism could be gauged by the fact that it will feature a host of celebrities and design experts targeting specific ethnic groups, explaining the latest trends in home and garden design. There will also be live demonstrations, insights into the trials and tribulations of creating award-winning rooms and question and answer sessions.
"With people of different nationalities and more diverse ethnic groups deciding to make Dubai their place of residence, it is imperative that a successful event like the Dubai Ideal Home Show needs to offer solutions to this wide market," remarked Mr. Hudson.
Other zones that will have specialized areas for products, services and competitions at the show include the Interior Design Zone which will include the Inspiring Ideas Theatre and Room Sets designed by experts to give budding interior designers plenty to consider, Kitchen to Table Zone which will have the Taste Temptation Theatre under its fold, Hometech Zone, Arts and Crafts Zone, Garden and Landscaping Zone which will include the Inspiring Ideas Theatre and Feature Gardens, Property Zone and Festive Zone among others.
At last year's show there were more than 200 exhibitors and over 7,500 visitors who had a chance to choose and decide their home environment. The attendance and participation this year is expected to be much higher following the coming together of the two leading publishing houses in the UAE, AMG and ITP, to support the show. The two publishing houses have joined hands with Messe Frankfurt in order to promote the show to the whole of the UAE.
