Aviation experts feel that airlines will have to bear the brunt of any increase in security costs following the foiling of an alleged plot to blow up aircraft bound for the US from the UK, reported Emirates Today. Shukor Yusof, an analyst with Standard and Poor's Equity Research, said that increased airport security measures could dissuade some tourists from travelling to the Middle East, as could the fear of terrorism.
